"People ask me why I chose Bowen and it's very simple. It's gentle and painless and you can use it to treat everybody. I can use it on babies and children just as effectively as I can on trapeze artists. It's a fantastic therapy and I believe it will be as popular and respected as Physiotherapy in the near future."
The Bowen Technique was pioneered in the 1970's by Thomas Ambrose Bowen in his home town of Geelong, Australia. He was not a therapist by trade but a labourer at the local cement works.
